Comment enrichir l’écosystème urbain ? En y favorisant la faune et la flore partout ! Les jeunes de C-Vert ont déjà commencé à verdir leur quartier avec des plantes, des fleurs et préparent des bacs de jardinage. Mais pour la faune, ils sont aussi passés à l’action.

C-Vert Gatineau youth took action on Wednesday, May 9th. With the help of many of their friends, they succeeded in cleaning up the large school yard of the polyvalente Nicolas-Gatineau. The school is the meeting place and partner of the C-Vert project.

Je m’appelle Oliver Morancy et je fais partie du groupe C-Vert Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. Le dimanche 25 mars, le groupe C-vert MHM a organisé un diner environnemental et communautaire avec des pères qui ont des problèmes familiaux(qui vivent certaines difficultés).

Des jeunes des quatre projets C‐Vert de Montréal et de C‐Vert + ont participé à la consultation publique sur le traitement des matières organiques de Montréal. Ils ont déposé un mémoire à l’Office de consultation publique pour donner leur opinion sur ce projet en plus de le présenter à l’oral pendant les audiences. Une première pour C‐Vert !
